We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced E-commerce Accountant to manage and oversee all financial operations of our online business. The candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, reconciliation, taxation, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage complete accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger
Handle daily sales reconciliation from e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.)
Perform payment gateway reconciliation (Razorpay, PayU, Stripe, etc.)
Maintain accurate records of online transactions, refunds, returns, and chargebacks
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Manage GST compliance, including filing returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
Handle TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliances
Monitor and manage inventory accounting and stock valuation
Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations) for financial data accuracy
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Handle bank reconciliation and cash flow management
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Support audits (internal and external)

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation (GST, TDS)
Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways
Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an E-commerce company
Knowledge of inventory and supply chain accounting
CA Inter / MBA (Finance) is a plus
